  18. Prepare 300 g Plain Yoghurt
  19. Make ready 1 tsp Ginger Paste
  20. Prepare 1 tsp Garlic Paste
  21. Take 2 tsp Salt or to taste
  22. Get 1/4 tsp Ground Turmeric
  23. Make ready 1 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder or to taste
  24. Prepare 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  25. Take 1 tsp Ground Coriander
  26. Prepare 500 g Mixed Lamb Pieces, on the bone
  27. Take 🌻For assemble the Biryani
  28. Prepare Pinch Yellow & red Food Colour Powder
  29. Take Few drop Kewra water
  30. Make ready 1 Lemon, sliced into rounds
  31. Prepare Reserved Fried Onions
  32. Take Fresh Coriander, chopped
  33. Take leaves Fresh mint

Let everything bubble and the water evaporate.
  3. Throw in the sliced tomato, sliced green chilli and dried plums. Stir-fry until the oil begins to rise. In a bowl, stir together the yoghurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, salt, ground turmeric, red chilli powder, ground cumin and ground coriander.
  4. Turn the heat of the pan down and add in the yoghurt mixture. Stir together then turn the heat up. Stir-fry until the oil rises to the surface. Then, add in the lamb pieces and stir-fry until the sauce begins to cling to the lamb. Pour in 170ml water and stir. Bring to the boil and then cover. Turn the heat down and cook until the lamb is tender. Ours took around 30-35 minutes
  5. 🌻Assemble the biryani: - Uncover the lamb and leave it on a low heat. Place all the rice on top of it. Sprinkle red and yellow food colour arrange all lemon and tomato’s slice spread fried onion and coriander and mint leaves.
  6. 🌻Steam the biryani: - Cover the pan with a lid and place a heavy object on top. Turn the heat to high for 1 minute then turn to the lowest and leave to steam for 20 minutes.
  7. 🌻Serve the biryani: - Let the biryani sit off the heat for 10 minutes. Then, gently toss it together. Delicious lamb Biryani is ready serve with Rita & salad. - Enjoy !
