  1. Take Half kg Mutton
  2. Make ready 2 Onions
  3. Prepare 1 Cup Dahi

  5. Prepare 1 tb sp red chilli powder

  7. Make ready 1 t spoon haldi powder
  8. Get 1 t spoon Garam masala
  9. Get Hara dhiniya
  10. Make ready Hari mirchain

Aloo gosht is traditionally made with goat meat, but I used lamb in this recipe for convenience. This, of course, doesn't make any difference to the final dish. It is important, though, to use bone-in meat as the bones add a lot of depth and flavour. Lamb shoulder has the best and most succulent meat.

Instructions to make Aaloo Gosht!:
  1. Fry some onions in oil when turn golden brown add G G paste
  2. After that add mutton bhuno it very well.. add onions paste in it & all spices (salt, red chilli powder dhaniya powder & haldi) add water
  3. Cover & cook till meat starts tender.. after that bhuno it till oil comes on surface.. add dahi again bhuno it.
  4. Add pototes.. mix mix & add water and let potato cook for 15 minutes.. tada.. it done.
  5. Sprinkle some garam masala & hara dhaniya & green chillies.. Enjoy ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปโฃ๏ธ

It is important, though, to use bone-in meat as the bones add a lot of depth and flavour. Lamb shoulder has the best and most succulent meat. Fry the onion in oil till brown. Add haldi, dhaniya, mirch, garlic, ginger and salt in the oil. Fry with little water till water dries.
