The ingredients needed to make Fish Spring Onion Gravy:
  1. Take 5 pieces katla fish
  2. Get 2 onions
  3. Get 4 garlic cloves
  4. Prepare 1 ginger cloves
  5. Get 3 stem of spring onion
  6. Take 2 red chillies
  7. Prepare 2 green chillies
  8. Take 1 tomato
  9. Prepare 11/2 teaspoon cuming powder
  10. Make ready 1 teaspoon cuming seeds
  11. Take 11/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  12. Prepare 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  13. Take 1 cup water
  14. Get as per taste Salt
  15. Get As needed Mustard Oil for cooking

Drain the fish well and place them on paper towels to soak up the excess oil. Reserving one tbsp of cooking oil in the wok, add in the minced garlic, white parts of spring onion and the sliced ginger. Drain them in a paper towel. Gradually add the stock, herbs and Worcestershire sauce and continue to cook until thickened.

Instructions to make Fish Spring Onion Gravy:
  1. Marinate the fish with turmeric, salt and mustard oil for 20 minutes. Then sort the ingredients.
  2. Then chopped the onion, tomato and ginger. Chopped spring onion and keep it handy.
  3. Then in a pan add oil. Once it heat add chopped onions, tomato and ginger. Then add red & green chillies. Then add garlic. Now fry all until golden brown.
  4. Once all cooked, let it cool. Then griend it and make a smooth paste. Then add cuming, coriander & turmeric powder and salt into the paste. Mix well and keep it side.
  5. Now in the same pan fry the fish lightly. Once done keep it side. Then in the same pan add cuming seeds. Then add the masala paste into it.
  6. Mix well all the masala with oil. Then add water and mix well. Now add the fried fish into the pan. Then cover the pan and cook it until fishes cooked properly.
  7. Once fish cooked and gravy becomes semi thick add chopped spring onions. Cooked it for another 1 minutes and switch off the flame. Serve with any rice varities dishes.

Drain them in a paper towel. Gradually add the stock, herbs and Worcestershire sauce and continue to cook until thickened. Now add the butter, then, using a wooden spoon, stir in the sauce flour. Heat the butter in a large frying pan. Reduce the flame and add sauce mixture and mix well till the gravy thickens.
